Best answer 4 votes 4 votes If no of processes $n = 9$ $\rightarrow$ there is a possible distribution of $27$ resources as ( $9*3 = 27$ ). All the processes will wait for one more resource. Deadlock. So maximum possible processes should be $8$ for a safe state. dd answered Jan 10, 2017 • selected Jan 10, 2017 by Archies09 dd comment Share Follow See all 0 reply Please log in or register to add a comment.
