(c) Multitasking

Multitasking is where many programs run in parallel on an uniprocessor system.

where as multithreading is running multiple instances on multiprocessor system, multi user is many user can access system at same time, multiprocessing is having more than one cpu.

I think Multitasking would be the answer.

Because it is clearly mention in the question that there are multiple programs.

Multitasking:- The ability to run several programs simultaneously.

Multithreading:- The ability to run several functions of a single program simultaneously.

I think multitasking and multithreading should be the answer because -

multitasking - multiple program running simultaneously with pre emption.

multithreading - multiple threads of a process running simultaneously and also there may be the case when multiple threads of different processes get executing simultaneously with pre emption mode.

correct me if i am wrong???
