Best answer 6 votes 6 votes The list is a data structure, which is part of the STL (Standard Template Library). It's very useful in the Program development and Problem-solving. For a better understanding of STL, I will recommend Stephan T. Lavavej video lectures, which he has delivered, at Microsoft's Channel9. Here is the link.
