guide me for gate 2018 closed

Hello sir ,

I am gate 2017 candidate  and I got just 35.91 marks . Now I want to take a drop and I want to score good in gate 2018. I hadn't   refer any text book last year just went through  the coaching  study material .now  what should be the strategy  for gate 2018  that  will help me for good rank.

What is the proper way of following  any text book . Should  I  read it thoroughly  or only those  topic I should  study where I get stuck  . Please guide me .

Read standard reference book as per gate syllabus, don't miss any part of it if you get stuck ask question here or gate2018.

Till October end read as much as you can and try to solve your doubts, solve previous year paper it will give you idea of what comes in gate after October start solving test series and learn from your mistake.
