Difference bétween distance vector routing and link state routing

Question

I'm confused with these two please can some explain

suppose in this image A sends DV to its neighbours (B,C,D) in DVR

even in Link State A sends information to its neighbours(B,C,D)

then whats the difference 

I learnt it as flooding is done in Link state 

But i could n't get how actucally vector moves in these 2

In DVR , A sends its distance vectors to only in its neighboures (B , C , D), thats why it is based on local knowledge.

In LSR, Every station or router will create "link state packets"

link : It is nothing but edge

state : It indicates that whether router is up or down..

In LSR the very first step  is every node or router will find out information about neighboures , links , and distances by using hello packets.

second thing is , in LSR every router is going flood the information to every other router

We can solve looping using split horizon, then how is it persistent?
