CNF and GNF

Question

Given answer is (a) but L->AB i think it is wrong because A and B produce something else Previously,

 so instead of L->AB there would have given like L->MN

 M->c1 and N->S then it was correct . if I am wrong please correct me.

L-->AB is correct, because before coverting to CNF, you have to eliminate certain kinds of things(epsilon transitions, unit productions etc)..

now there is unit production i.e L-->S, you have to remove it..now modified grammer will be,

S--->(L)/a    L--->L,S/(L)/a, now when you covert it into CNF, you will find all the productions of option (A), but still option (A) is not correct because L--->a should also be present in production...
