Question

Suppose you have a computer system with a 48-bit logical address, page size of 16K and 4 bytes per page table entry. If we have a 48MB program such that the entire program and all necessary page tables are in memory. How much memory is used by program, including its page tables?

Please tell me the source of this question ? I have seen this question before, everywhere people solve it dividing the Virtual address bit, and using given information i don't think we can say 48 bit is divided into <10 12 12 14 >

how we are dividing it in <10,12,12,14>, do you know the reason ? This is the only part i dont know how they do it, if this division is given already, then question become easy .
