 broadcast on the local network.

All o's in Host id part is not Considerd as valid IP addres

Ans is 1 refers to current network

The IP address 0.0.0.0  is used by hosts when they are being booted .IP address with 0 as network number refers to current network.

The value -1 is used as a broad cast address to mean all hosts on the indicated network
