This Network is a class C Network in class-full classification and Range of Class C network is 192.0.0.0    223.255.255.0

So answer is Class C.

The easy way to solve this type of  question is:

         Class          Starting bits

  • A        -       0
  • B        -        10
  • C        -       110
  • D        -       1110
  • E       -        1111

Given IP address starts with

198 = ( 110 00110) 2  ; hence Class C
