Answer is e

There are SEVEN collision domains

We should know these points about network devices

Hub Forwards every frame out every port, excluding the port originating the frame. Thus, all ports on a hub belong to the same broadcast domain. If any two devices connected to a hub send a frame simultaneously, a collision will occur. Thus, all ports on a hub belong to the same collision domain.

Switch also forwards every frame out every port, excluding the port originating the frame. Thus, all ports on a switch  belong to the same broadcast domain. But physical ports in a switch are such that each node will be in separate collision domain.

Router will never forward broadcasts from one network to another network. So router separates broadcast and collision domains.

Considering the points above the collison domainsof given network will be

Total seven collision domains

switch at data link layer is called as bridge which has many ports and each port is connected to one collision domain or LANs

switch is used to connect the various sgments of LANs which are then called as switched LANs

switch maintains a table of MAC addresses so when packet comes to switch It will filter the MAC address and forward the packet to destined LAN segment

we can say Hub does not have filtering capability like switch, It forwards packets to all the segment no matter for which destination it belongs so Hub causes heavy traffic on network.

Hub does not have forwarding and filtering capability like swich.

Collision domain is 2.
