Does cycle time in (channel efficiency or channel utilization or throughput) and Ethernet efficiency differ ?

Page-->63 Q-->1  cycle time = (Transmission period +Contention Period)

Page-->64 Q-->15 cycle time = (Transmission period +Contention Period+ Propagation Delay)

Page-->68 Q-->49 cycle time  = (Transmission period +Contention Period)

Page-->69 Q-->54 cycle time = (Transmission period +Contention Period + Propagation Delay)

I think cycle time should be = Transmission period +Contention Period + Propagation Delay

Since general formula Throughput =  Efficiency * Bandwidth

Actually the answer should be cycle time=(transmission period+contention period +propogation delay)

but since its ethernet(LAN technology) the propogation  delay will be so small that can be negligable many times.

we will make propogation delay as 0.
