1 votes 1 votes How many 64 x 8 RAM chips are needed to provide a memory capacity of 2048 bytes? Assuming that 64 x 8 RAM chips means 64 x 8 bit RAM chips, Since 8 bits = 1 byte, Each RAM chip has 64 x 1 byte = 64 bytes. Thus the number of chips to address a memory capacity of 2048 bytes will be, 2048/64 = 32 chips. anonymous answered Apr 17, 2017 anonymous comment Share Follow See all 0 reply Please log in or register to add a comment.
1 votes 1 votes This is a preety straight forward question where the number of bits at a memory location are same in desired(or target) chip(2048B) and the chip we have (64B) Shravan Swain answered Aug 26, 2020 Shravan Swain comment Share Follow See all 0 reply Please log in or register to add a comment.
