How is it possible to maintain the same frame size?

The minimum size of ethernet frame is 64 bytes long to make sure that the sender is able to detect the collision at the far end of the cable. If the Fast Ethernet with bandwidth 100 Mb/s also has the same 64 byte minimum frame size, but can get the bits out ten times faster. How is it possible to maintain the same frame size?

1.   increase the velocity of cable by a factor of 10
2.   reduce the cable length by a factor of 10
3.   increase the cable length by a factor of 10
4.   Frame size must be change

i think both A and B can be the answer..

I also have the same doubt, if by reducing the length of cable we can normalize the increasing effect of bandwidth then we can also do the same by increasing the velocity 10 times.
