The check sum of 10010010 and 00111000 (8 bit segment) is ___________ :

(2) 11001010

I am getting the answer as 11001010 , so option should be (2) , but in key the option is 3?

Explanation : Sum of 10010010 and 00111000  and then complement of the result is checksum.

                 10010010 + 00111000=11001010

now , checksum = 1's complement of 11001010= 00110101 Hence,option (c) is correct.
