It is so simple 😊, squaring LHS and RHS we get

$9 \text{ inches} = 0.25 \text{ yards}$

Option D is wrong, because when we square once more we get

$81\textbf{ inches}^2 = 0.0625\textbf{ yards}^2$

Correct Option: C.
