Consider a program which needs to be run on a Round-Robin Scheduling algorithm Size of program is 200Kb and it has been stated that hard disk has a transfer rate of 2Mbps. Assume that there are no head seeks and average latency is 10ms. The acceptable time quantum for effective CPU utilization is _____(ms.)

I don't think it's right. Unless a page fault occurs data in the MM will not be replaced. And the page to be replaced is also decided by the replacement algorithm used. I don't think there's any relation between program size and time quantum. And if DMA is used CPU is not required for transferring data from disk to MM. Such questions will never be asked in gate.

I also feel it should be 110

Because for effective utilization context switch time < < Time quantum

But, Context switching , considering the program is stored in disk could consist of bringing the program to main memory.So, context switch should include one way transfer i.e. from Disk to Memory or Memory to Disk and not both ways transfer.
