a b c are in GP i.e., b2 =ac.... (GP property)

solve by example.. let a b c be 2,4,8 respectively and it satisfies 42=2*8=16   (a, b, c > 0  {given} )

or,2p = 4q = 8

and should also satisfy ap = bq = cr != 1 (given)

if p=q=r=0 then ap = bq = cr = 1 (option d false)

let us take.... for above example  2p = 4q = 8 r =64 ...so we get p=6,q=3,r=2

therefore,

  • pqr are not in GP (option A false)
  • and, pqr are not in AP (option B false)
  • and, pqr are in HP (option C true-ANSWER)
