A student is allowed to select at most n books from a collection of (2n + 1) books. If the total
number of ways in which he can select at least one book is 63, find the value of n.

as we know that .. row summation $\left ( n r \right )$ = 2 ^{n}$ 

so here given no of ways  in which he can select at least one book is 63 , it is nothing but selecting 1 book to atmost n books as given in question , from collection of 2n+1
