Admission to premier institutes

Question

Hi,  

My BE final year percentage was 56%. My BE aggregate is around 54%.  Im aware that I have no chance in getting admissions to IITs.  

But IISc has 2nd class(BE aggregate) as their eligibility criteria.  

Do I qualify for IISc for the following:

1. Direct Admission if my Gate rank is in first 50.

2. If my Gate rank is in first 500, will I get an interview call?  Is there any other premier institute I can apply to(assuming a very good GATE rank).

yes of course miss you can get IISc for TA or RA dept as per your rank,all the best for gate cs 2018 you will get IISc ,other premier NITs topmost Warangal,Suratkhal,IIIT Hyderabad are alsl good for placements,but aim for only IISc,

It doesn't matter from where you come from, all that matters is where you are going.
