I am doing my B. Tech from a Tier II college, and initially, I was not very interested in academics. Therefore, my grades have suffered, and while I regret that, I understand nothing can be done about it now.
I have been preparing hard for GATE over the past few months, and I feel I may have a shot at a good college. However, I also feel that my very average performance in B. Tech may harm me later.
To offset this to some extent, I want to do final year projects which show that I am a dedicated student and also help me learn some area of Computer Science in depth
Unfortunately, I have no idea of what constitutes a good minor project. The faculty at my college are not the most helpful, and therefore of limited use.
My areas of interest are Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Software Development (Android \ Python) and Machine Learning (although I have a very limited knowledge of this)
Any suggestions will be very helpful. Thanks!
