Monotonically increasing means if we visualize the point on a graph for every increase in value of x plane the graph slope either remains same or increase but never decrease.

Strictly increasing means that in graph for no two value of x the value of y is same such tha slope is positive, i.e. similar to a line drawn at 45°.
