Given block is 172.89.0.0/16

In order to make 1024 subnets, 10 bits should be taken from the host Id part.

Here first 16 bits are network I'd and rest 16 bits are host id

172.89. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _  . _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

10 bits are given to network id for subnetting

172.89. * * * * * * * * . * * _ _ _ _ _ _ (Remaining 6 bits for host I'd)

Subnet no 1024 i.e last subnet is

172.89. 11111111. 11000000

First host : 172.89. 11111111.11000001

i.e 172.89.255.193/26

Last host: 172.89.11111111.11111110

i.e 172.89.255.254/26

Hence correct answer should be 172.89.255.193/26 and 172.89.255.254/26
