Let p: He is intelligent, q: He is tall. Write the following in symbolic form:
He is neither tall nor intelligent.
Is the answer:

Given He is neither tall nor intelligent means the person involved lacks both qualities tall and intelligent

So  our answer becomes ~q ^ ~p

First option ~q v ~p means He is not tall or not intelligent. So this is true if he lacks either quality.
