can we use this method

f1 AND f2=(2,4)

we do not include in f3 ..bcz it is present in both f1 and f2 *

and

f3=(0,1,3,5,6,7,) ,due to when we performed AND operation b/w f(1) and f(2) then we do not get  these values , so (0,1,3,5,6,7) are present in the f3

 

am i correct ??

F1 = (2,3,4), F2 = (2,4,5)

When we are performing AND operation of f1 and f2 then minterms 0,1,3,5,6,7 are not coming because either they are present in f1 or f2 or not in f1 and f2 both.

That's why we have choice in f3 for them.

Choice in such a way that you can include or not result will be 0 for ex. minterm 3 include it in f3 or not, no change in final result.

Why we are including ???because maximum minterms are asked.
