How it on to function ?? f(x) =y ==> -n/2 =y ==> n = -2y

-2y is not the domain right?

Here co-domain is all integer positive and negative then always onto + one to one..

x = 1 then y = 0

x = 2 then y = -1

x = 3 then y= 1

x = 4 then y = -2

x = 5 then y = 2

..... so on.

Even no from domain give negative int in co domain, and odd no from domain give positive int in co-domain.
