If N stations are connected if each station needs 2kbps bandwidth. How many maximum stations can be connected to network?

NUMBER OF STATIONS*(REQUIREMENT OF EACH STATION)=EFFECTIVE BANDWIDTH...

here effective bandwidth=2 Mbps.....and we each station need 2 Kbps....by putting up above formula..

N* (2*10^3) bits = 2*10^6 bits....solving this we get N=1000...

hence we can have  one thousand stations that can be connected....
