If a full mod counter having 10 flip-flops is initialized at 0, the count it holds after 2060 pulses will be ____________________

a) 10

b) 11

c) 12

d) 13

10 flip flops, mod value = 2^10 = mod 1024
 1024*2 = 2048
2600-2048 = 552
552%1024 = 552

I am getting 552 answer.

I think in the question , it should be   "after 2060 pulses" instead  of  "2600 pulses" ..

I've replaced after word with at word.

Mod 10 can have max count of 0-1023(1024) values

So after 2 complete cycle of 0-1023,0-1023 it would have completed 2048 pulses now left wilth 2060-2048=12 clock pulse

0-1 clock

1- 2nd clock and so on

Going on till 12 clock pulse counter would have value of 11

So B is answer

I have came across such question many time and my understanding of such question in any digital paper is by after they usually mean stable output like once 2060 clock pulse have hit what output we get until next clock cycle. so once 2060 cycle has begin 11 value will be there thus i would always mark 11 as answer rest depends on you what how you feel, similar question is asked in case of output sequence also where we have been given diagram and asked value of flip flops after 5th ot kth cycle there also i do the same. Whatever you do make sure you are understanding and doing it correctly because it has happened with people that by test series  they understood wrong concept and did mistake in gate also.
