for manchester encoding:  baud rate(B)= 2* bit rate(b1)-------(ii)

for NRZ encoding : baud rate(B)=bit rate(b2)------(i)

now it is given that baud rate is fixed

now dividing (i) by (ii) we get;

b2=2*b1

so b1=(1/2) b2

ie manchester encoding communication bit rate is half as fast as NRZ encoding
