Cardinality between A:B is N:1 (Arrow head indicates cardinality 1)

Cardinality between B:C is 1:1

Hence Many A values can be mapped to 1 B value

For 1 B value there will be exact 1 C value

in option A)

100 A values can be mapped to 10 values in B and hence maximum value of t = 100.

10 B values can be mapped to exactly 10 C values.

Hence maximum value of t =100.

in option B)

1000 A values can be mapped to 1 value in B and hence maximum value of t = 1000.

1 B value can be mapped to exactly 1 C value.

Hence maximum value of t =1000.

in option C)

5 A values can be mapped to 3 values in B and hence maximum value of t = 5.

3 B values can be mapped to exactly 3 C values.

Hence maximum value of t =5.

in option D)

100 A values can be mapped to 10 values in B and hence maximum value of t = 100.

10 B values can be mapped to exactly 10 C values.

Hence maximum value of t =100.

Hence option D is matching only. :)
