State True or False.

S1.Vertical Micro programmed control unit uses variable logic to interrupt instruction.

S2 : Horizontal Micro programmed control unit uses fixed logic to interrupt instruction.

S3:Hardwired control unit uses Variable logic to interrupt instruction.

i think S1,S3 are true and s2 is false.....???

:ex:   in the case micro programmed CU....updating the program is the solution for the changing in the Instruction set....

in Hardwired CU ....we will have to re_design the whole logic_circuit correspond to the change in instruction set....

I think S1 and S2 are correct as Hardwired control unit is fixed whereas microprogrammed control unit is flexible.

1. Hardwired control unit uses fixed logic to interpret an instruction and generate appropriate control signal .(means not Flexible.)
2. Micro-programmed is flexible in nature.
