Doubt in deadlock prevention

Question

In any of the deadlock prevention schemes, is it possible that the request will be granted even if it leaves the system to an unsafe state (but not in deadlock state)?

no its not possible to grant such requests...thought its true that UNSAFE condition may or may not lead to deadlock but OS never grant such request..

@Rishabh Gupta 2 Deadlock prevention had nothing to do with state it limits the functionality of the system by not allowing any process achieving 3 conditions of deadlock and yet want to achieve the last one.
Where as in deadlock avoidance we use safe state approach where os build a logical table which looks for deadlock if allocation request has been granted.

@saxena0612 Yes I know that. But I am asking if there is any deadlock prevention policy in which the request would have been granted, but if instead deadlock avoidance was used it would haven't been granted since it makes it unsafe state.

@Rishabh Nop, there is no such policy which will check about state of system in deadlock prevention. State will be check only in avoidance mechanisms.
