How?? 0 votes 0 votes Ashwin Kulkarni commented Dec 8, 2017 reply Follow Share Because at some stage due to T1 : r1 (x) (Shared lock is acquired) and T2 : w(x) can't get Exclusive lock hence stuck due to T2 : r(z) (shared lock is acquired) and T1 : w(x) can't excuted bcz can't get Exclusive lock hence stuck.
