Number of Flipflop required to represent following states

000 -> 010 -> 011 -> 100

I think 2 is an anwer .Rt ?

here if you are thinking ...no. of flip flops required to represent 4-states then definite 2 FF is enough....

but for given scenario....000-010....2 FFF could not generate 3 bits info......
