3 tables reqd  two store entites E1 and E.2 relationship R1 can be stored in E2 table one more table is required  for Relationship R2 which is many to many so ans is 3

For many - to -many = Min 3 RDBMS table required

For one to many =  Min 2 RDBMS table required

here we need MIN 3 table 1+ for E1 + 1 for R2 + 1 for E2R1 =3.

There will b one more table for the relation which is many to many...

Hence 1-1 table for E1 and E2 and one for the R2.
