Assuming all packets follow the same 4 hop path then the delay in sending an 100000 bit message is _________ms A_i_$_h asked Oct 8, 2017 A_i_$_h 1.3k views answer comment Share Follow See all 12 Comments See all 12 12 Comments reply Show 9 previous comments ashish pal commented Dec 28, 2017 reply Follow Share @akash.dinkar12 For the remaining 99 packets you took transmission time or the propagation time. here both are same. also what if propagation time is larger than transmission time or the transmission time is larger than propagation time, then what we consider for the remaining packets propagation time or the transmission time. I think whichever is maximum that should be considered. Am i right ? 0 votes 0 votes suvradip das commented Nov 13, 2018 reply Follow Share i think 2140 msec is correct since the time in which a packet gets propagated in that time we can transmit another packet. but what if the propagation delay or transmission delay are different should we consider the max of two then? 0 votes 0 votes Nishi Agarwal commented Sep 15, 2019 reply Follow Share what if the propagation delay or transmission delay are different should we consider the max of two then? 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
