A computer system uses a single level directory structure . The directory occupies 2 disk block . the disk block size is 2KB. directory entry size is 4 bytes . Then what is maximum number of File in File system ?

No of entries in one block=2*1024/4=512

As two block are used for directory son no of entries=no of files=2*512=1024
