Number of nodes in Binary tree

Question

 I did     (12*3 +7*2 + x)  = 2(No of edges) = 2(12+7+x-1)

(x= no. of leaf nodes)   .  Am i wrong somewhere?? Please explain. Or any other good way to do this. (But the degree method was good.)

why you did like that 12*3 +7*2 + x can u plz explain....

i would take 2*(number of internal node with 2 children) +1*(number of internal nodewith 1 children) + 1=2*12+1*7+1=32 even with graph method i m getting 32
