In how much time ,the collision is detected, Is it  (Propagation delay) or  (2* Propagation delay) ??

it depends on conditions given..

say ideally if 2 stations starts transmitting data at same time ..then there will be data collision at exactly center of LINE...

so each source can detect collision in (propagation delay/2)+(propagation delay/2)="PROPAGATION DELAY"...

but we always go for worst case...

IN WORST CASE the collision may occure exaclty in front of 2nd node...means data has already travelled for 1 propagation delay...but as 2nd node also just start sending data... collision occures...and to detect collision... again data has to travel to source which is at distance of propagation delay...

so it took 2*propagation delay...
