Go-BackN sliding window protocol

Question

Consider a network connecting two systems, ‘A’ and ‘B’ located 6000 km apart. The propagation speed of media is 2 × 10⁶ mps. It is needed to design a Go-Back-7 sliding window protocol for this network. The average packet size is 10⁷ bits. If network used as its full capacity, then the bandwidth of network is__________ Mbps.

(I am getting 10Mbps , please confirm it)

Efficiency= w/(1+2a) where w=7 in this case.

$ \Rightarrow 7\times\frac{ T_t}{T_t+2T_p}=1$

$ \Rightarrow T_t=\frac{1}{3} \times T_p$

$\Rightarrow T_p=\frac{6 \times 10^6}{2\times 10^6}=3sec$

$\Rightarrow T_t=1sec$

$ \Rightarrow B=10^7bits/sec=\color{Red}{10}Mbps=\color{Red}{1.25}MBps$
