To detect collision in CSMA/CD.

What is the condition?

Tt=2*Tp

OR

Tt=Tp

I think it is Tp because the time required by the jam signal to propagate through the channel to the sender should be the propagation delay.

let sender A is transmitting packet and after ..... after completion of T_t   .....let and the last another node is start transmission ......then if collision occur .... then node A will receive signal but willl not sure that it is due to collision....but if during node transmission node recieve signal...then it will be sure that it from collision ....terefor

Range of collision detection/ acquiring a channel is $(0-2PT)$ in CSMA/CD
