My doubt is:

In rule 2, R is deriving its value from synthesized attribute of its parent. I read somewhere (don't remember the source now) that it can use only the inherited attributes.

If A takes value from R or Q then it is S-attributed 

if Q takes value from A or R takes value from A or Q ( from the left side only)  then it is L-attributed

here Q is taking value from right side R hence neither S nor L attributed

@007 answer might be the C just R is taking value from A which is inherited and which supported by only L attributed .
