Question is total number of blocks needed for indexing...

means find blocks needed for file storing and for index...

Blocks required for record=218

entry size for index is ...2+2=4byte  means a single block cn hold 4kb/4=1k entries.=210..

for sparse entry we will hold the entry of only block...

therefor block needed at first level....218-10=28  blocks at first level  

now one more block at last level....

therefor total blocks would be...218+28+1  ->aprox to 220 (as other option to farther)
