Help needed Don't know what to do?

Question

Literally don't know what to do. Was always getting around marks around 55 and 57 in ME test series but is only getting 38 marks in gatecse 2018. I have taken a drop. Please help me. Don't know what to do. should i start looking for jobs or prepare for BITS or IIIT.  My last year marks in gate was 36 and i didn't prepared last time. Literally i am seeing my future pretty dark right now. Please help me don't know what do?

It is okay bro. Even I took a drop. I was even placed at a company but I left. My score is 36. These situations will make you stronger. Learn to deal with these anxieties, depression, pressure and trust me this is something a lot of people fail at coz no book can teach u this :p Never give up. Stay happy coz life is limited time and is too short to be sad :D

I am quite good with my preparation but somehow was not able to perform well in gate. Will give a shot to iiith and Bits :)

Hey, I am also on the same band wagon like you. Took a drop for Gate 2018, joined Ravindra Sir's lectures and got 41.33 marks now. I was also down like you, from the morning. But now I am feeling better and looking to give IIIT-H and BITSHD a shot. If you have interest in core maths orientated jobs then you can also try out ISI Kolkata. I think the people who got better marks then us were either great during their B.Tech and took a year drop or they took two consecutive years drop. Anyway, just don't feel down. You are not alone. Brace yourself for future endeavour.

I will suggest you to start preparing again and don't get disheartened by your performance. It is the most crucial time for you and this is where you will make the most important decision of your life. If you Don't know what to do then why have you come so far! Discipline yourself right now. Don't let the fear of losing, grab hold of you. You know you deserve more then why not try more. We all fail in life at some point, it's how you get past that and start working hard at your next goal.
