What after gate for low score ?

Question

I dropped an year and fully prepared for gate , I left job at a service based company and prepared for 6 months.

Now I got only 37 marks in gate because I couldn't handle pressure in exam.

I am currently jobless.

 Instead of hunting for a job what options do I have , need some suggestions apart from North East NITs.

I have 9 months job experience which includes 3 months as a software developer at a product company and then 6 at a service company.

I am 2016 passout and this was my first attempt.

almost same case with me just than I have some more experience than you...I tried while working last year....this year I left job and worked hard for 5 months...I am getting even lower than last year...dont join northeast nit ones...they are even worse than manipal or vellore university...even the cs subjects are all the same no good electives.......You can try for product based companies like lg,samsung,cisco...but it has actually more pressure than service based company if you are thinking to try again while working...or else if teaching,research is your ultimate goal then you can join lower nit or some good private college.I know people in teaching line who have never sat for gate and yet doing phd in Nits by qip program.

Is NIT Durgapur A fine option, I may get NIT durgapur IT as per last year spot round, i need a course matching GATE Syllabus, So i am not into Information security stuff.
Do You have Information about NIT Durgapur.
And can you elaborate about qip program, Any link ?
Also I am from delhi , Is NIT Delhi a fine option ?

if you are just looking for job dont waste your money and time...try some sharpen your coding logics and try some companies first even at mtech level companies will take same tests only...no one cares which college you passed out from in corporate world....Durgapur is good...but one of my old friend who graduated from there said that one will learn nothing more than the same btech subjects and btech people are always preferred in case of placements....so whats the point? I think only few NITs are doing some quality research stuff others are plain coursework same subjects.....If you are not afraid to go outside country I suggest you to apply in NUS singapore...take loans if necessary...you will get real exposure not just a degree....you can apply with GATE rank till 5000...

Bro, NIT delhi is better than lower NIT[rourkela, durga etc] [first i took admission in NIT rourkela software branch i left that college within 1 month], NIT delhi is better choice for you, you can get placed in that college. I did my POST graduation from DCE, i know NIT Delhi, after this you can chose other. And one more thing bro..it does not matter which cse/it branch you are pursuing your study, it will matter in 1 or 2 company only rest they will allow. If your Placement Coordinator is good all will allow to every branch belongs to Software. I was PC i know the scenario.

Is there any chance for NIT Delhi Or DTU or NSIT At this score, (Expected Score Around 490-500), please can you tell as i am unable to find the cut offs, should I apply in all these or there isn't any hope ?

Bro for NIT delhi may be but DCE not possible, even this time nit delhi cutoff will increase i think. This time paper came tough compare to last time, so if you are getting 35+ marks then you can get it. I think your's 37 so be patient for counseling  and don't forget to see spot round.
