Second class B.tech. 3 years work experience. I want to study further but doors seem closed for me.

Question

I passed B.tech-CS in 2014 with 57% marks. Throughout the school and college I was never serious about my studies or future. I was not clear what I wanted to do in my life.(No one was there to guide and I had no idea of the different options). I did not know the value of marks. I was just told to clear B.Tech and get a job. That was all I knew. I was so dumb that I did not know till college 3rd year that companies recruiting the graduates specify a minimum percentage to be eligible for their recruitment process. But I anyhow got job as Software Developer after my college in a good MNC and in next 3 years(till Sept 2017) I was having 3 years experience and worked in top two service based MNCs as Java Developer.

While working in these companies, I realized the value of learning. I learnt a lot. I learnt by myself. I came to know the value of self learning. My mind stared runnning, it got sharp. I was able to learn and write code easily compared to all others colleagues. In just a year in company, I was at a stage to replace the 5-6 years experienced people in the company. That is when I got the confidence that I am better than a large population out there. I can learn practical things fast, but it is difficult for me to mugup things. So, while working I developed an interest to learn more about computer and I decided to study further for my learning and professional growth. So in September 2017, I quit my job just when I completed my 3 years of work experience to prepare for GATE. Till April-May 2017 I was not having any idea what GATE is, its syllabus or pattern etc. It was 3 years that I passed out of college and since than I have not touched or read anything that was taught in B.Tech. But then in 6 months I went from 0 to 47 marks in GATE. Predicted rank is around 1200.

Now, I am stuck. I feel like my Graduation percentage is haunting me. When I want to do something and when I know what I want to do, doors are closed for me. Everywhere above 60% is needed at least. Be it IIT, NIT, any foreign university etc. Be it any other exam.
Please let me know that can I do and how can I proceed. What are the ways out there for me.

you really don't need iit to be successful. lean some stuff other than computers. start your own company. First read Rich dad poor dad ,it may change your mindset.

Thanks for the response. That is what I used to think. But slowly I realized that a good education is a must. I want to study further and then do what you said.

Its not the question of whether you have got 57 or 90% , " How bad do you want it"?? 

Score in top 50 in Gate 2019 and then apply for IITK or there are some IITs who require %> 55 only.

I am 27 now. By the time of PG I will be 29. I dont want to wait a year more.. :(
