can somebody please answer this ?

 Number of tables needed for ER diagram 

I understand about minimum table must be three , but for maximum it must be 5., as best possible normalized table is table with just two attribute, hence we can break E1 as (A11, A12) and (A11 , A13) ,  even though it is not necessary

Maximum number of tables will be 4,each for E1, E2, E2(multivalued) attribute and for relation R

minimum number oof relation =3

maximum number of relation=4

My doubt is they have asked for maximum number of table

and as you might be aware , relation with just two attribute is in highest normal form

hence we can further break E1 as (A11 , A12)  and (A11 , A13) ,

I know it is not necessary to do so
