The lookup page table shown below is for a job in a paged virtual storage system with a page size of 1024 locations. Each virtual address is in the form [p,d] where p is page number and d is displacement in the page.

page size = frame size

virtual address [0,514] -> page number =0 offset within page =514

page 0 is at physical frame 3

starting address of 3rd frame = 3 * 1024

physical address corresponding to [0,514] = (3*1024) + 514 = 3586
