Consider 1 Mbps error free line .The maximum frame size is 1000 bits . New packets are generated about 1 sec apart .

Timeout interval is 10 ms . The ACK timer is eliminated , so how many times the average message would be retransimitted ?

Please tell the approach .Answer is we cannot say anything until we are given propogation delay , how will propogation delay decide no of re transimissions ?

And if propogation delay is given how to calculate the average no of re transmissions ?
