Gate 2019 preparation

Question

Dear Sir I am 35 years old, working in MNC and planning for gate 2019 again, got 25 marks in gate 2018. Done 12th with Maths and science, BCA-58%marks & MCA-61% marks from ignou. Pls advise can I do mtech in Computer science from IITs, IISc, NITs after getting good rank in gate because many IITs are asking for bsc with maths. So am I  eligible for mtech in cs from IITs, NITs n IISc ? I am not getting good opportunities right now so planned for mtech in cs from premier institute only. I am very much dedicated and will not give up till I achieve my goal. But your guidance is required. Pls help me sir.

Go for it. You will not regret. Last year I read in local newspaper some old man around 75 was giving matriculation examination and was very happy to clear it. You are just 35 and there is no age restriction on gate. It is already jun.
So you have only 6 months left and then you will revise and take test series. Don't think too much. Don't think much about package and all. You will have a great learning experience. I will suggest to join some coaching as you might have been out of touch with gate subjects for long time. All the best

Brother, Don't think about others. U have already scored 25 marks. So definitely u will have some basic idea about questions and all. Open up standard books and refer them thoroughly to study topics one by one and solve questions from GO and gopdf. Plz, take care about progress chart whether u r improving or not day by day and gain confidence from it. And if u are not improving then see where u r lagging...??U have to be careful because anyhow u have to do it. Try to solve each and every GATE questions and read the question calmly and try to understand each word in the GATE question because each word is very important in this exam. 

So track ur improvement and keep on improving. and see where u stand in next 3-4 months and then stick to ur strategy while appearing for mock exams(these are available in this website). Analyze ur mistakes and learn from it. If u follow all these smartly then u will see a great impact in ur life.

My real dream was to go into defence forces and then try higher education from there....I missed some great chances in SSB (officers selection process in defence) and I started quite late after 4 years exprnc in MNC.Its never late...you are just 35...till a long way to go...start early for GATE and enjoy your journey...dont take tension before exam dates!
