As given in the question she makes one move per second and spends exactly one hour a day to solve the problem. There are 14 disks so it will take 214-1 = 16383 moves to move all the disks from peg A to peg C.

Now to find the answer in days we could take 16383 and divide it by 60*60 (60 seconds = 1 minute and 60 minutes = 1 hour) and take the ceiling value of it i.e. ceil(16383/(60*60)) and this will give us 5 days which will be the time taken to move all the disks from peg A to peg C. She made her first move on Monday. So she will finish the work in 5 days i.e. Friday(1st day being Monday).
